Education serves several functions for society. Like socialization, social integration, social placement and social and cultural innovation. Latent functions include child care, the establishment to peer relationship and reducing unemployment. Problem in educational institution harm society because all these functions cannot be completely fulfilled, as said by Functionalist.
Education promotes social inequality through use of tracking and standardized testing and impact of its hidden curriculum. As said by Conflict theorist.
According to symbolic interactionist, social interaction in the classroom, playground and other school venues are the main focus. Certain educational problem are on the basis on social interaction and expectations.
The educational system is divided into four levels: Pre-primary, Compulsory which has single structure primary and lower secondary education, upper secondary and higher education.
Education is the process of facilitating learning or acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits. Education method include teaching, training, story-telling, discussion and directed research.
