Question from my lab manual: "Calculate the molar mass of your unknown compound."
Here is the example given in the manual:
"Since molality is the number of moles of solute per kg of solvent, there is 15 g urea in 100 g naphthalene (or 150 g urea in 1000 g naphthalene).
150 = 2.5 mol
mol = 60 g
Therefore, the molar mass of urea is 60 g/mol."
I do not understand where they got the 2.5 moles from in that example. Please explain to me how this was calculated.
