Transcribed Image Text:Format for Time Management Summary
Monitor your time usage for one week and use this chart to record the approximate amount
of time you spend in each of the categories. For example, if you spend four hours on
Monday on School-related activities, write a "4" in the first box. Fill in the other boxes
accordingly for each day. Record your information in hours or partial hours. Your total daily
hours along the right side column should
each type of activity will be calculated in the next to last box at the bottom of each column.
For example, if you spend 8 hours per day on Personal Care, the box at the bottom of the
Personal Care column will be 56 (8 x 7). To determine the percentage of time per week
= 24 (hours each day). Your total weekly hours on
spent on each time category (which you will record in the last box in each column), divide
the number of weekly hours for each activity by 168 (the total number of hours in a 7 day
week). For example, if you spend 56 hours per week on Personal Care, the box at the
bottom of the Personal Care column will be 33.3% (56/168). The percentages in all of the
boxes across the bottom of the chart will = 100% the number in the lower right column.
Be sure to check your math.
