I was able to debunk this from lecture 10. In that lecture, I learned that the sun naturally keeps the Earth warm, and keeps the Earth warm enough for there to be life on Earth. I also learned that reasons for climate change aren't solely because of the sun and that the main reasons are because of human activity and greenhouse gases. This intrigued me a lot because growing up in my household my whole family thought climate change was just because of the sun being too hot. I'm glad I was able to get rid of this myth that my family always believed in.
