Question:
Cost analysis of a house's electrical energy needs.
Requirement:
15 KW/h for heating (6 monhts)
5 KW/h for electrical appliances (12 monhts)
Initial Investment Cost for Heating: 3000 $
Electricity price: 0.5 $ / kWh
Assumptions:
Winter: 180 days
Summer: 180 days
Sunny days: 135 (in winter)
Windy days: 80 (in winter)
Windy days: 80 (in summer)
Outside Temperature:
10-15°C 90 days (in winter)
15-20°C 90 days (in winter)
Electricity is cut off for 6 days every month. (The electricity is cut off for a maximum of 2consecutive days.)
Please select two of the following renewable energy sources:
Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Biomass Energy, Hydropower Energy, Geothermal Energy,Marine Energy
Please select the appropriate energy storage system according to the energy source you have chosen.
Show the cost anaysis (calculations) in detail. Compare the results and specify which energysource and storage system is appropriate.
Note: Do not forget that the energy source you choose also consumes electricity
