Old age is generally 65 years and above which is  defined as ages that are getting close to the human life expectancy, and consequently the end of the human life cycle. Old age brings about some physical and psychological changes, and how these changes affect the individual decides, in great part, whether he will adjust well or poorly to his personal and societal circumstances.

Older folks are much more likely to experience mental health problems. But it's not thought of as a normal aspect of ageing; in fact, younger individuals are more susceptible to mental health problems than older people are. The likelihood that older people will seek treatment for their mental health problems is lower.
