Part 1: Think about a business you are working in, hope to develop, or plan on joining after you complete your degree.  What kind of mathematical tasks and thinking do you think you will need?  What kind of calculations will you be making? Use Part 2 and Part 3 as guides/ideas for follow-up responses to your peers. Part 2: Are you being specific enough? What kind of business is this? Service? Manufacturing? Warehousing or supplying of physical goods? Personal representation? What kind of calculations? Did you think about various types of expenditures you might need to calculate? Financial? Production costs?  Labor costs?  Taxes? What kinds of decisions will you have to make and what kind of information and/or data will you base these decisions on? Part 3: Were you specific enough?  Can you imagine this business model?  Is your business idea realistic?  How do you make money?  Do you want to make money?  Or is the service/business more important to you than money? Do you think you will learn the math you need for your business in this course?
