Step 1
Drager Fabius Trio, Fabius anesthesia is a device for inhalational anesthesia is used in operating rooms, induction rooms, and recovery rooms. it is equipped with an electrically driven and electronically controlled ventilator.
The parameters are monitored: –
- Airway pressure (PAW),
- Tidal volume (VT)
- Inspiratory oxygen concentration (FiO2)
Fabius is prepared with a compacted breathing system that gives fresh gas decoupling, PEEP, and pressure limitation. The following ventilation modes are available-
- Volume Control (volume-controlled ventilation)
- Pressure Control* (pressure-controlled ventilation)
- Pressure Support* (pressure-supported ventilation)
- SIMV/PS* (synchronized intermittent ventilation with pressure support)
- Man Spont (manual ventilation/spontaneous breathing)
