Question
On Cisco Packet Tracer, please design the following networks:
- An office with 4 printers and 2 servers, and a default connection via an internet router
- A second facility that connects to the office via a 100 MBps point to point GigabitEthernet connection and also its own facility with a 100 MBps GigabitEthernet connection. This one has 3 networked printers and 2 servers.
- A third facility that connects to the office via a 100 MBps point to point GigabitEthernet connection and also to the second facility via a 100 MBps GigabitEthernet connection.
All networks are required to have DHCP authorized for people in their router. The Internet company uses 20.15.0.0 private space. Each user subnet must have one PC. Loopbacks should be used for other links.

- 1. It is known that the MAC address is the only address that is used in order to communicate and reach to the destination in the local network. Study the figure below carefully and then answer the following question: Suppose that a data (shown in the figure) has arrived to the router A. The ARP table for Router A is as shown in the figure below. Discuss the necessary steps that are needed for the Router A to prepare the frame for the final hop. How can two networks with different protocols communicate with one another?arrow_forwardUnmanaged Ethernet switches are typically hard to detect in an Ethernet segment. However, they can be made visible through over-subscription. Explain how this can happenarrow_forward
- the question i am having trouble with is: you are designing an application at work that transmits data records to another building within the same city. The data records are 500 bytes in length, and your application will send one record every 0.5 seconds. is it more efficient to use a synchronous connection or an asynchronous connection? What speed transmission line is necessary to support either type of connection? juat looking for some insight on how to solve for the connection and also for the speed.arrow_forwardIt is important to decide what sort of cable will be used to link the switch and the router. Which piece of hardware is required to link two distinct networks, each of which makes use of a different protocol?arrow_forwardExplain why this statement is true: The wait time for a single-channel system is more than twice that for a two-channel system using two servers working at the same rate as the single serverarrow_forward

Both the workstations and servers are connected to the network using 100 Mbps switches. Rewire the workstations' network cards with 1000 Mbps switches to solve two issues.
