Muslims have five key religious duties. They are known as the Five Pillars. FIVE PILLARS OF ISLAM Belief in God There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the messenger of God. Prayer Believers must pray five times a day. Charity Muslims must give money and goods to the poor. Fasting Muslims do not eat or drink between sunrise and sunset during Ramadan.
