directions- Chapter 9 defined the struct studentType to implement the basic properties of a student. Define the class studentType with the same components as the struct studentType, and add member functions to manipulate the data members. (Note that the data members of the class studentType must be private.)
Write a program to illustrate how to use the class studentType.
Struct studentType:
struct studentType { string firstName; string lastName; char courseGrade; int testScore; int programmingScore; double GPA; };
An example of the program is shown below:
Name: Sara Spilner Grade: A Test score: 89

- elow for each class you find a UML and description of the public interface. Implementing the public interface as described is madatory. There's freedom on how to implement these classes.The private properties and private methods are under your control.. There are multiple ways of implementing all these classes. Feel free to add private properties and methods. For each object, it's mandatory to create a header file (.h), implementation file (.cpp) and a driver. Blank files are included. The header should have the class definition in it. The implementation file should contain the implementations of the methods laid out in the header fine. And finally the Driver should test/demonstrate all the features of the class. It's best to develop the driver as the class is being written. Check each section to see if there are added additional requirements for the driver. Two test suites are included so that work can be checked. It's important to implement the drivers to test and demonstrate…arrow_forwardWhen the friend tool is used, this is broken. - or this assignment, you will select either the Cat or the Dog Java class from the UML diagram. Open the Virtual Lab (Apporto) by clicking on the link in the Virtual Lab Access module. Then open your Eclipse IDE and create a new class. Use the Eclipse IDE Tutorial if you need help with creating a class in Eclipse. Before you begin, review the following UML Class Diagram, paying special attention to the attributes and behaviors of each class. As a note, though the diagram illustrates an inheritance relationship between the classes, the class you choose to implement does not have to inherit from the Pet class for the purposes of this assignment. You will learn more about implementing inheritance in later modules. Next, you will implement either the Cat or Dog Java class. Your class must meet all of the specifications from the UML Class diagram. Be sure to include the following in your Cat or Dog class: All attributes (variables) with appropriate data types. Note that the types are…arrow_forwardIn this lab, you create a derived class from a base class, and then use the derived class in a C++ program. The program should create two Motorcycle objects, and then set the Motorcycle’s speed, accelerate the Motorcycle object, and check its sidecar status. Instructions Ensure the file named Motorcycle.cpp is open in your editor. Create the Motorcycle class by deriving it from the Vehicle class. Use a public derivation. In the Motorcycle class, create a private attribute named sidecar. The sidecar attribute should be data type bool. Write a public set method to set the value for sidecar. Write a public get method to retrieve the value of sidecar. Write a public accelerate() method. This method overrides the accelerate() method inherited from the Vehicle class. Change the message in the accelerate() method so the following is displayed when the Motorcycle tries to accelerate beyond its maximum speed: "This motorcycle cannot go that fast". - For the Point2D data type, create three static comparators: one that compares points based on their x, y, and distance from the centre, and the other two that compare points based on their respective coordinates. For the Point2D data type, create two non-static comparators: one that compares objects based on how far they are from a given point, and the other that compares objects based on how far they are from a given point polarly.arrow_forwardUse an appropriate scikit-learn library we used in class to create y_train, y_test, X_train and X_test by splitting the data into 70% train and 30% test datasets.
