In what ways does exercise increase glucose transport into muscle cells?

Exercise increases glucose transport into muscle cells. The ways by which this happens are as follows-
1. During exercise, GLUT4 is translocated from the intracellular sites to the sarcolemma and T tubules of muscle cells. GLUT4 is the transporter through which glucose enters the cells. When there is more GLUT4, more glucose can be transported to the cells.
2. During exercise, the blood flow to the muscles and all over the body increases along with the heart rate. As a result, more blood will reach the muscles during exercise compared to the normal resting condition. In this manner, more blood-carrying glucose can reach the muscles and help to increase its uptake into cells. Glucose delivery is enhanced by rapid blood flow.
