In this project, you are asked to independently research and write a short report relating to our discussion on Biofuel Energy. Your topic selection is completely of your choosing, though the report must clearly demonstrate how the subject is relevant to the overall topic of Biofuels. This course presents introductory discussions through module content and our weekly lectures, to enhance this learning it is up to the student to further explore and independently research topics of interest. The goal of this research report is to explore what interests you, and get on paper your ideas about this area of renewables technology. The marking scheme rewards originality and uniqueness of topic selection. Students with same/similar topics will loose significant marks. Plagiarism will result in a 0 mark, and will be dealt with according to Conestoga Academic Integrity policies. As this is a research report, it is important to develop an overview or a thesis statement about the topic you wish to discuss. The report should then clearly present no more than 3-5 key points or arguments that communicate your ideas that support your thesis. Bullet-points are acceptable only if used to support a specific item, overuse of bullet-points will result in mark deductions due to improper formatting. Please be sure to include any images or chart/data plots to enhance the discussions presented in your report. However, Images do not replace text, word count indicated below must be met. Report must also contain at least two properly Cited & Referenced sources. Use conestoga APA guidelines for citing and references, as proper application of this will be graded per the attached rubric. Failing to cite within body of document will result in loss of marks.
