Suppose, the frequency of dominant allele (A) is= p and the frequency of recessive allele (a) is= q.
According to H-W equilibrium p+q=1
The allelel frequency of recessive allele is 0.3. So, q= 0.3 (given).
Hence, the frequency of dominant allele (A) is p = (1-q) = (1-0.3)=0.7
So, p=0.7 and q=0.3
