Immigration control began as a racial issue, moved into an employment issue, and today is a combination of racial, cultural, economic, and security issues. Considering that the United States would be a population in decline were it not for immigration, how should we address the issue of migrant (seasonal) workers as an integral and necessary part of the American workforce?
Immigration Enforcement (IE), a law enforcement division of the Home Office, is in charge of upholding immigration regulations throughout the United Kingdom. From its founding in 2008 until Home Secretary Theresa May de-merged it in March 2012 in response to harsh criticism of the top management, the force was a component of the now-defunct UK Border Agency. Immigration Enforcement was established on March 1, 2012, and is now directly answerable to ministries. Preventing abuse, tracing immigration criminals, and boosting adherence to immigration law are among the duties of the force. Its employees are authorized as immigration agents with a range of arrest and detention rights. The Independent Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration oversees the activities of Immigration Enforcement.
