Plasma is the most prominent part of the blood comprises 90% of water. It is a yellowish colored liquid that is responsible for carrying water, salt, and enzymes.

Proteins present within the blood plasma is known as plasma protein, and the liver produces these proteins. There are different types of plasma proteins these include-

• Albumin is the most prominent plasma protein responsible for regulating osmotic pressure.
• Globulins are 35% of total plasma protein that participates in immune system functions.
• Fibrinogens is 4% of total plasma protein functions in clotting.
• Antitrypsin is Less than 1% responsible for neutralizing the digestive trypsin.
