How is the genetic
determination of sex
established in humans?
Sexual reproduction is a type of reproduction in which organism under goes different cycles like gametes and adults. The organisms’ produces gametes, male organism produces male gametes like sperms and female organism produces female gametes called ova. The male gamete travels to the female and fuses with it to form a diploid zygote called as fertilization.
Karyotype is a total collection of the chromosomes of a organism. For suppose the karytope of humans is 23 pairs of chromosomes. Human beings have 22 pairs of autosomal chromosomes and 1 pair of sexual chromosomes. Autosomes contains genes regarding different body functions, and produces proteins necessary for body activities. They do not determine the sex of the offspring. Sex chromosomes are the chromosomes which determine the sex of the off spring.
