Sociology also analyses the influences of these stratification systems on the lives of the people associated with them.
Religion has a set of beliefs, values, and practices linked to the supernatural power or the spiritual entity. Emile Durkheim was the one who majorly concentrated on the concept of religion to find out the real reason for the development of capitalism as a mode of production. Religion is an organized institution because of the sequential structures it has. The religion will have an official doctrine that is the source for the religion to guide it further. in the next, there comes the churches or temples, where the priest is the one who dictates the prayer and directs the followers by making the official literary text to understand by themselves. in the next phase, it will have the hierarchical, bureaucratic structure where the rules and practices are included in this positions, these norms drive the behaviors of the people who follow that particular religion. Every religion has its own way of tracing the lineage from the supernatural entity. They all also have a unique way of process of attaining salvation. In the pre-enlightenment period, the church was the one that had the whole control over the society. It is the one that had directed every aspect of society. In most of the scenarios, society believes that religion is the one that is the source of the morals and ethics that the individual has to follow. it also acts as a barrier to the regulation of the deviant behavior of the community, and even it also acts as a base for the cause of violent and anti-social elements that take place in the society
