Effective caring always promote growth and development and health. Caring is more important than curing. The practice of caring is the core of Nursing practice. Elements of caring are 10 carative factors. These are -
- Foundation of humanistic altruistic system of values
- Instillation of faith and hope

- promotion and acceptance of expression

- promotion of healing nurturing environment
- gratification of human needs
- allowance of existential phenomenological forces
The Theory of Caritative Caring was created by Katie Eriksson. This model of nursing theory compare between caring ethics, the practical relationship between the patient and the nurse, and nursing ethics. In the Caritative caring theory, it consists of love and charity, which is called as caritas, and respect and reverence for human holiness and dignity. This theory suggest that suffering occurs due to lack of caritative care.
