Question
How does intercellular co2 (Ci) relate to photosynthesis? Does more light increase or decrease intercellular co2 (Ci)?
Expert Solution

Step 1
Photosynthesis is a process in which plants use carbon dioxide, water and sunlight to synthesize sugars and oxygen. Light energy is converted to chemical energy which is used by the plant for metabolic activities. A lot of factors affect the rate of photosynthesis in the plant's leaves. These include temperature, light intensity and carbon dioxide concentration.
