Stonehenge is a prehistoric megalithic monument in Salisbury Plains, Amesbury, England. It was constructed in several phases during the Neolithic and Bronze Age periods from 3000 BCE and 1500 BCE. The monument was built in the form of a circle built using massive stones. The biggest stones used are known as Sarsen stones weighing up to 25 tons while the smaller ones known for their Bluish hue weigh up to 4 tons.
