Give some example of colour blindness?
Color blindness is color vision deficiency. In this condition a person is get affected by the reduced ability to see colors and fail to differentiate between certain colors. This condition generally involves inability to differentiate between the shades of green and red. Cause of this deficiency includes some eye diseases and medications. The most common cause for this condition is an inherited complication in the development of three sets of the color sensing cones found in the eyes. The normal color vision is called trichromacy-tri because in normal vision all the three types of cones function correctly to see all the brilliant colors.
There are three type of color blindness; red-green color blindness, blue-yellow color blindness, and total color blindness. The red-green color blindness is the most common type of color blindness followed by the blue-yellow and total color blindness.
