Effects of crisis of 2007-2008 on US government’s budget in the long run:

  • Loss of jobs: Because of recession, many people lost their job. Some college graduates found it difficult to pay for their education and left college in the middle. Earnings of people were also heavily affected leading to inequality.
  • Fall in investments: Investment fell down to a low level. Productive capacity and Capital level decreased to a lower level. A part of investment was highly affected due to limited access of bank credit.
