There emerged two powers: the USSR and the USA after World War II. Both the countries had their own set of ideologies: the USSR supported the ideology of Communism, and the USA supported the doctrine of Capitalism. After the end of world war, II, both countries started increasing their power to dominate their ideology in the world. Both nations began developing nuclear weapons to showcase their ability to the globe.
There was another area in which the two countries remained in the permanent competition. The room was space exploration. Both the USA and the USSR aimed at investigating Space as it will prove their technological supremacy in the world.
