Standing waves can be said to be due to “interference inspace,” whereas beats can be said to be due to “interference in time.” Explain.

Two waves, one traveling in water and another traveling in air, have the same frequency and the same wavelength. The speeds of the two waves      are different because they are in different mediums     the are the same because they have the same wavelegth and frequency     are same in magnitude but opposite in direction because sound has a harder time going through water     are impossible to determine without knowing the densities and temperatures of the two mediums.
