How does science impact our day to day lives? What is human ??Lesson: Perpetuation of life What’s more: Answer the following questions: Are you in favor of Genetic Engineering? Yes or No? Why? If you are an expert in Genetic Engineering what would be your creation and how will it help us?
- All living things are organized. For this question, think about the levels of organization in the human body: organ system, organ, tissue, cell, molecule, atom.First, choose any organ system that we covered this semester, and explain its role in the body. Next, choose any organ in that system, and explain its specific function within the system. Next, choose any tissue type in that organ, and explain how it specifically helps the organ do its job. Next choose any cell type in that particular tissue, and explain how it contributes to the tissue’s function. Finally, choose any molecule (or atom) found in that specific cell and explain what the cell uses that molecule for. When the body is in a state of "dis-ease" the systems in our body do not function the way that they do when we are in a state of "ease". In a study of two adult twin sisters age 54, Beth and Mary, scientists were trying to understand why these twins had very different body weights and why Mary was suffering from a gastrointestinal disease yet her sister was healthy. They studied the healthy twin (Beth) to see if they could learn anything about her sisters disease from studying her. They were raised in the same house until they went to different colleges (Beth stayed in London and Mary lived along the coast line in a farm town in France). They were both mostly healthy throughout their childhood although Mary had a very sensitive stomach and suffered from allergies. Through the use of questionarres, stool samples and genetic samples the researchers learned so much about the two sisters, including that Beth was born vaginally but Mary was born by C- section because their mom was to…Direction: Fill in chart with purpose of the given Human Body System Animal Body System Digestive System Purpose of Animal Body System How do they all function together?
