Describe Victor. H. Vroom Expectancy Theory
Expert Solution
Step 1
Victor. H. Vroom's Expectancy theory is all about behavior and motivation of an individual.
According to the theory the individual behaves or act in a certain way because he/she
chooses that behavior over others, due to its outcome. In simple words, an individual
chooses that behavior because he knows that it will lead him to the expected outcome. It is
the theory which emphasizes that a person chooses this behavior of motivation after
identifying different alternatives and finding this the best one to reach the ultimate goal.
Vroom also focused on his theory that an individual's performance is directly related to his
personality, skills, knowledge, experience and abilities.
