- The Preconstruction operations are planning operations which are done before commencement of any construction project.

- The five phases of preconstruction operations are :

1- Client and contractor interaction phase

- The client provide the vision of the project to the contractor after which the contractor gather all the information and planning required for the project.

- The initial budget and project completion time are discussed.

2- Defining objective of the construction operation phase

- Checking the feasibility of construction project.

- Provide plans, ideas and architectural design for construction operations.

- Clients queries are solved by contractor in this phase.
