Describe and explain the differences between an earthflow and a mudflow.

Mudflow, stream of water that contains a lot of suspended particles and sediment. It has a higher thickness and consistency than a stream-flow and can store just the coarsest piece of its heap; this causes irreversible residue entrainment.

An earthflow is a downslope thick progression of fine-grained materials that have been soaked with water and moves under the draw of gravity. It is a transitional sort of mass squandering that is between downhill wet blanket and mudflow.
