When sound waves enter your ear, they are funneled by the auricle into the (A) [ Select ] where they vibrate the (B) [ Select ] membrane. Vibrations travel through fluid in the scala vestibuli, vibrating the (D) [ Select ] membrane, which vibrates fluid inside the (E) cochlear duct, which vibrates the (F) saccule . Finally, hair cells send action potentials that are interpreted as sound.
