define basic (or pure) sociology
It is classified according to its origins, existence, and genetic or spontaneous creation and means and methods for the artificial improvement of social conditions on man and society as conscious and intelligent agents. Pure sociology was the first of these schools, and applied sociology was the second.
As a result, a logically ordered system of sociology becomes a philosophy. Not because it is speculative, which would mean that it has abandoned the realm of reality. But because of the vast amount of facts that such a nuanced science would inherit from a long line of more uncomplicated sciences, its proper treatment necessitates deep dives into those realms to discover and trace social phenomena' origins. Pure science's method is analysis, and its goal is understanding.
