Feminism is a belief that everyone should be treated equally disregard of their gender, sex, race and other differences in society. Sociologists are interested in studying how and why society treats women differently and consider them second grade citizen. Their are different approaches in feminism like Liberal feminism, Marxist feminism, Radical feminism and Socialist feminism. Each approach is different from one another and gives a different understanding of feminism and women's oppression, exploitation and struggle.
