From a sociological point of view, the term discrimination can be defined as the practice or any action that is often meant to provide disadvantaged or excludes or even differentiate the individuals based on their caste, sex, race, gender, etc. In this subject, discrimination has been studied into two categories- first, sociology sees discrimination as a social phenomenon, secondly, discrimination as the explanation to observe the other social phenomena.
