A straight flush is a poker hand that consist of 5 cards in a row of all the same suit (Diamonds, Hearts, Spades, or Clubs. Suppose you are playing video poker and are dealt 4 D,5 D, 6 D,7 D King C. The machine uses a normal 52 card deck (A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen King). If I throw away the king and draw another card, what are your odds of making a straight flush? The King of Clubs you throw away cannot be selected again, but any other card other than the 4-7 of Diamonds can be selected.
