Question
A digital multi-meter (DMM) contains a microcontroller that will be interfaced to a computer
using USB. The computer software needs to be able to configure the DMM and read the values
displayed on the DMM. It will also be possible to update the DMM firmware over the USB
connection. Suggest a set of USB endpoints for this interface. For each endpoint give the type
and the direction. You do not need to include Endpoint 0 (the mandatory control endpoint used
by all devices.)

While he waits for each tape to finish, he works on his thesis that shows that Shakespeare's plays were written by aliens. It runs on the computer that is being backed up because that is the only one they have. Is there anything wrong with this arrangement?arrow_forwardI only need to use two entities, a pc and the card. Each LED connects to it's own pin on the KL25Z. The pin numbers are Red - Pin 53Green - Pin 54Blue - Pin 74 Find the pins on the KL25Z device on page 3 of the FRDM schematic diagram Download FRDM schematic diagram. They are on the right side of the big symbol which is the KL25Z. All the internal connections possible for each pin are summarized in the pin name on the KL25Z schematic symbol. What are the possible Port connections for each of the red, green and blue LEDs? These are the "PTxy" part of the name. The "x" in the name is the PORT (A, B, C, D or E). The "y" in the name is the PORT and GPIO pin number (0 to 31). For example, something connected to Pin 73 can connect to PTD0. Which is PORT/GPIO"D", pin "0". There are situations when a hardware-managed TLB might be slower than a software-managed one:arrow_forwardMazin bought a new card for capturing television on his computer. When he finished going through the packaging, however, he found no driver disc, only an application disc for setting up the TV capture software. After installing the card and software, it all works flawlessly. What's the most likely explanation? The device doesn't need BIOS, so there's no need for a driver disc. The manufacturer made a mistake and didn't include everything needed to set up the device. Windows supports TV capture cards out of the box, so there's no need for a driver disc. The device has an option ROM that loads BIOS, so there's no need for a driver disc.arrow_forward
- To record TV shows on his PC, Mazin recently upgraded his video capture hardware. However, after thoroughly searching the box, he discovered just an application disc for installing the TV capture software and no driver disc. After the card and software have been installed, they function without a hitch. What seems to be the most plausible reason? There is no need for a driver disc since the device does not need a BIOS. The manufacturer messed up and failed to provide all of the necessary components for proper device installation. There is no need for a driver disc with Windows since TV capture devices are supported natively. There is no need for a driver disc since the device comes with an option ROM that boots the BIOS.arrow_forwardDevelop an algorithm in Arduino to repeatedly count the number of times a button has been pushed and released and show the count on the Arduino serial monitor.
