(3) Explain the passive processes of simple and facilitated diffusion.

Diffusion is the movement of water particles from the region of higher to lower concentration.

In cell biology, there can be two types of diffusion . They are

1) Active transport - it moves against a concentration gradient.

2) Passive transport -It moves across a concentration gradient or we can say there is a gradual difference in the solute concentration between two areas.
