Xanthus of Lydia (Sixth Century B.C.)

Xanthus of Lydia. A Greek historian; living about the sixth century B.C., contemporary with Herodotus. He wrote a work called ‘Lydiaca,’ being a history of Lydia from heroic times down, and giving also a geographical description of the country; only fragments of it have been preserved.
