Wilson Flagg (1805–1884)

Flagg, Wilson. An American naturalist, scientific and political writer; born in Beverly, MA, Nov. 5, 1805; died in North Cambridge, MA, May 6, 1884. Some of his books are: ‘Studies in the Field and Forest’ (1857); ‘Halcyon Days’; ‘A Year among the Trees’ (1881); and ‘A Year among the Birds.’
