Wilhelm von Braun (1813–1860)

Braun, Wilhelm von (broun). A Swedish poet; born Nov. 8, 1813; died on Sept. 12, 1860. He abandoned the military career for literature, and speedily became one of the most popular poets. His ‘Collected Works’ contain every conceivable form of poetical composition, but his writings are characterized by licentiousness.
