Thomas Dudley Fosbroke (1770–1842)

Fosbroke, Thomas Dudley. An English antiquary; born in London, May 27, 1770; died at Walford, Herefordshire, Jan. 1, 1842. His devotion to archæology and the older Anglo-Saxon lore inspired ‘British Monachism’ (1802) and an ‘Encyclopædia of Antiquities’ (1825).
