Robert Plumer Ward (1765–1846)

Ward, Robert Plumer. An English writer of fiction and miscellaneous works; born in London, 1765; died in 1846. His novels, ‘Tremaine’ (1825), and ‘De Vere’ (1827), published anonymously, were exceedingly popular. His other works include treatises on the law of nations and essays on juristic topics.
