Pierre Jacques René Denne-Baron (1780–1854)

Denne-Baron, Pierre Jacques René (den-bär-ô‘). A French poet and essayist; born in Paris, Sept. 6, 1780; died there, June 5, 1854. He had much learning and a faultless taste; ‘Hero and Leander’ (1806) and ‘Poetic Flowers’ (1825) being delightful though not great, while his ‘Dictionary of Conversation’ is widely known.
