Otto Müller (1816–1894)

Müller, Otto (mül’ler). A German novelist; born at Schotten, Hesse, June 1, 1816; died at Stuttgart, Aug. 7, 1894. He edited several periodicals. Among his works were the popular ‘Burgher’ (3d ed. 1870); ‘Charlotte Ackermann’ (1854), which he dramatized; ‘The Mayor of Frankfort’ (3d ed. 1878); ‘The Convent Court’ (2d ed. 1862); ‘Roderich’ (2d ed. 1862); ‘Tales’ (2d ed. 1870); etc.
