Narciso Díaz de Escovar (1860–1935)
Díaz de Escovar, Narciso (dē’äth dā es-kō-bär’). A Spanish poet; born at Malaga, June 25, 1860; died in 1935. He won great popularity with his lyric poems, and several of his dramatic compositions have been very successful; ‘A Morisco Episode’; ‘The Young Men of the Day’; ‘Two Husbands and a Wife.’ In collaboration with other writers, he published a volume of ‘Character Sketches from Madrid.’
