Louise Brachmann (1777–1822)

Brachmann, Karoline Louise (bräċh’män). A German poet (1777–1822); born at Rochlitz. Her ‘Lyric Poems’ are full of life and melody. She wrote also a poem of chivalry, ‘The Judgment of God,’ in five cantos, and several romances.
