Shipman, Louis Evan. An American writer; born in Brooklyn, NY, Aug. 2, 1869; died in 1933. He published: ‘Urban Dialogues’; ‘A Group of American Caricatures’; and an acting play founded on the story of ‘Henry Esmond’; ‘On Parole’; ‘The Admiral’; ‘D’Arcy of the Guard’; ‘The Grain of Dust.’
