Stephens, James. An Irish novelist and poet. His poetical volumes are: ‘Insurrections’ (1909); ‘The Hill of Vision’ (1909); ‘Songs from the Clay’ (1915); ‘The Rocky Road to Dublin’ (1916). His novels are: ‘The Charwoman’s Daughter’ (1912); ‘The Crock of Gold’ (1912); ‘The Demigods’ (1914); and a volume of short stories: ‘Here are Ladies’ (1913).
