James Baillie Fraser (1783–1856)

Fraser, James Baillie. An English traveler and man of letters; born at Reelick, Inverness-shire, June 11, 1783; died in Jan. 1856. He went to the West Indies, and thence to India, in 1815, making explorations in the Himalayas. He wrote: ‘A Historical and Descriptive Account of Persia,’ and other works.
