Osborn, Henry Fairfield. An American scientist; born at Fairfield, CT, Aug. 8, 1857; died in 1935. He wrote, among much else: ‘The Age of Mammals’ (1910); ‘Huxley and Education’ (1910); ‘Men of the Old Stone Age’ (1915).
