Hannah Flagg Gould (1789–1865)

Gould, Hannah Flagg. An American poet; born in Vermont, 1789; died in 1865. Among the collections of her verse are: ‘Hymns and Poems for Children’; ‘The Golden Vase’; ‘The Youth’s Coronal’; etc. The best-known piece by her is ‘The Snow-Flake and the Frost.’
